Persuasive Essay On Homeschooling - 831 Words

Homeschooling refers to the procedure of teaching kids from home instead of sending them to public or private schools. This is when they are taught by parents, brothers, sisters, a neighborhood friend, or online. Homeschooling is not for everybody and as we will see later the pros and cons of homeschooling. People say it is good because there is not busy work all the work can be done in a few hours. Then, people say it is bad because parents or whoever is teaching has to be with the kids all the time in order for them to be able to understand what is being taught to their full potential. I intend to prove that kids should not be homeschooled because of the time,cost, and socialization. Time is very important when it comes to school. When†¦show more content†¦If you want the best education for your children you have to pay the most and research says it is over $900 per child to get the best education so they will be on the same level as kids in public schools. You have to have homeschooling in your budget or your going to be financially in debt. Lastly, you may say socializing is not that important but without socializing kids will have a higher chance of them running into trouble either with the juvenile or adult legal system, also cause them to have aggressive or violent behavior because they are not use to talking to people outside their household and cause depression because they do not have any friends or anybody to hang out with. But, If home schooled, they may be at a disadvantage of the chance to form friendships which will cause them suffer socially. The lack of socialization may affect them in later stages of life. Then if kids do not socialize with other kids they will not learn things like patience because you have to have experience with dealing with all types of people to be able to have patience also they will have a hard time making friends when they are done with school and move on to college or just moving out of their parents house and this where depression plays a part because they will eventually beco me lonely not having any socializing skills.
